Martine and Didier Lemorton have the pleasure to welcome you within their authentic and traditional farm situated in the bocage domfrontais, on the department limit Orne/La Manche, on the road department 976, in the place told ” Baillée Fêtu ” Mantilly.
It is the company which followed one another from generation to generation. Didier and Martine are at the heart of the bocage decorated. They have a big diversity thanks to the wooded hedges which allow to protect orchards whatever is the bad weather.
Didier is the leader of exploitation of the family company, he succeeded Roger Lemorton, his father, as well as Isidore, his grandfather.
The farm contains hundred hectares with pear trees and of apple trees of high stalk with more than about forty different varieties. The principle of fruit trees high stalk allows to keep intact and constant the biodiversity. A recent modification of places was made to allow the clientele to feel comfortable with the stakes in existing standards there.
During your visit, we shall have the pleasure to make you discover local products appropriate to Normandy. A tasting of the local products will be proposed to you with the diverse explanations of the process during its transformation. A visit of cider storehouses will be offered to you so that you can see the evolution of the family company according to the years.
During the harvest, ripe fruits fall systematic of the tree to settle delicately on the bed of grass situated under the pear tree so that we can collect according to the time fruits towards places in the cellar.
